RZ Medical Transportation LLC (“RZ Medical,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides non-emergency medical transportation services in Massachusetts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our transportation services and to our text messaging (SMS) program, RZ Medical Ride Notifications.

1.  Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide your transportation:

• Contact information: your name and mobile phone
• Trip information: pickup and drop-off addresses, appointment date and time, and return-trip details.
• Service needs: information relevant to your ride, such as wheelchair or mobility assistance needs.
• Booking information: details provided by you, by a family member or caregiver, by your healthcare facility, or by a transportation broker arranging your ride.

We do not collect payment card information through our text messaging program.

3.  Text Messaging (SMS) Program

When you book transportation with us — by phone, or through your healthcare facility or a transportation broker — and you provide your mobile number and agree to receive

texts, we may send you messages about your ride: a booking confirmation, a day-of reminder, a notice that your driver is on the way, and a notice that your driver has arrived.

Message frequency varies based on the trips you book (approximately 4 messages per trip). Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not cancel your transportation — please call us at (978) 918-1572 to make changes to a scheduled ride.

4.  How We Share Information

We share your information only when necessary to operate your transportation:

• Healthcare facilities and transportation brokers that arrange or manage your trip, so they can coordinate your care and your ride.
• Service providers that work on our behalf — for example, our text messaging provider and our cloud hosting providers — who may use the information only to provide their services to us.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or a valid legal

We do not sell your personal information.

5.  Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and we limit access to the personnel and providers who need it to perform their work. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

We keep trip and billing records for the period required by applicable law and our record-retention policy, and we dispose of them securely afterward.
